RedMagic continues to tease its upcoming gaming smartphones, and the latest piece of information is quite exciting. The RedMagic 10 Pro will boast an extremely high screen-to-body ratio.
Screen-to-Body Ratio of the RedMagic 10 Pro
The RedMagic 10 Pro has officially announced a screen-to-body ratio of 95.3%, potentially making it the highest in the world. The device will not feature a camera hole or notch, as it will utilize an under-display camera.
First 1.5K True Screen from BOE
RedMagic has also confirmed that the display will be supplied by BOE. This display is being termed the “world’s first 1.5K true screen”, which implies a clean design free from any holes, delivering a pristine image.
Called the “Wukong Screen”
The company refers to this display as the “Wukong Screen”, inspired by a character from the Black Myth: Wukong game, which is featured in RedMagic’s promotional materials.
Multiple Variants Coming
RedMagic has hinted at multiple devices in the RedMagic 10 Pro series. Rumors suggest models like RedMagic 10, RedMagic 10 Pro, RedMagic 10 Pro+, and RedMagic 10 Ultra. However, it seems unlikely that the company will release all four models.
Powerful Performance and Innovative Features
Previously, RedMagic confirmed that their new smartphones will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Each device is expected to have a flat frame, a physical fan, advanced cooling solutions, and other gaming features. At least one model is rumored to sport a 7-inch display and a battery capacity exceeding 7,000mAh.
The official unveiling of these smartphones is set for November 13. Initially, they will launch in China, with a global rollout expected to follow shortly thereafter. As a side note, the RedMagic 10 phones are anticipated to be available in both Europe and the US.
